We chatted with Kelson Group’s interior design director and lead, Trish Becher, to learn more about what makes this area truly exceptional.
The first thing residents will discover as they walk into the second floor of this 24-storey tower is a spacious amenity lounge. Within this area, they will find casual sitting areas, a washroom, a small serving station equipped with a modern fridge and sink, as well as a pool table.
“This space will be perfect for casual meetings or informal gatherings with friends or family. There will be an opportunity to partition the space for private functions as well,” said Becher. Hours of operations and additional fees have yet to be determined by the strata.
As if that wasn’t already exciting enough, this amenity lounge will also feature personal workstations, providing a separate peaceful environment for those who work from home.
“We wanted to offer a quiet space for residents outside of their homes, so they don’t have to feel like they’re living and working in the same space,” said Becher.
Additionally, the second floor will feature a gym filled with the latest exercise equipment so residents can stay on top of their fitness routines. This area will have a separate washroom for easy access and convenience, allowing residents to minimize disruptions during their workout sessions.
Residents will also be pleased to find a yoga multipurpose room inside the gym.
“The purpose of having this area is to provide a peaceful space for residents who might want to come into the gym early in the morning and do a more meditative and quiet stretching, yoga or pilates. The great thing about this room is that depending on the needs of the residents, the space can be rearranged and used for casual meetings later in the day,” explained Becher.
With controlled access to this exclusive area, residents can relax and enjoy the space without any worries. The best part is that thanks to the building’s concrete construction, which minimizes noise transfer, everyone can enjoy their activities without being disturbed by external noises, offering tranquillity and comfort to all.
