For over 30 years, Hot Nite in the City has been a cherished Kamloops tradition, celebrating everything from classic Street Rods and sleek Customs to powerful American Muscle and vibrant Tuners. Cheer on the Teams at the Dragon Boat Festival!
On August 8th, head down to Riverside Park and get wrapped up in the excitement of the Kamloops Dragon Boat Festival! Feel the thrill as teams compete in three exhilarating 500-metre races along the stunning Thompson River, culminating in a heart-pounding Guts and Glory showdown!

Groove to the Beats at Music in the Park Every single night in August, you can check out live music performances on the Riverside Park bandshell stage for this year’s Music in the Park series. From tribute bands to country to 90’s pop, this year’s lineup boasts an incredible variety that is sure to have you dancing the night away! Food trucks will be in Heritage House (100 Lorne Street) every evening starting at 6 pm, with performances running from 7 – 8:30 pm.
