At City Gardens’ Trillium tower, residents will not only enjoy mesmerizing views of the city and quality amenities for enhanced relaxation, but also a unique feature in Kamloops – all parking stalls are designed to accommodate an electric vehicle (EV) charger. Available as an upgrade when purchasing a unit, these individual charging stations offer a new level of luxury and support a greener lifestyle.
With residents’ convenience in mind, Trillium’s three levels of parkade, which totals around 590 stalls, have been pre-wired for EV chargers.
“This gives the option to the owner to upgrade their assigned stall(s) so our team can install the charger before their possession date,” said Michelle Brown, Project Administrator for Kelson Group. “Offering EV charging is a benefit to all future purchasers as they will have the option to charge their vehicle in the City Gardens parkade versus around town, which can often be hard to find.”
With this upgrade, residents can simply pull into their assigned stalls and charge their vehicles without worrying about finding a vacant spot, saving both time and money.
In addition, prospective residents will only be charged for the power they use, rather than a flat fee, with charging locations accepting all current charger types. The cost for this one-of-a-kind upgrade is $5,000.
