Winning a gold star from the Best of Kamloops awards in 2022 is The Art We Are Café. This funky café can please all appetites, including those who are vegan and gluten-free and their support of local artists adds additional flavour. Test drive their white chocolate peppermint creme cold brew or their winter spiced tea latte. Infused with cinnamon, clove, orange peel and vanilla, this drink pairs perfectly with the season.
Caffe Motivo, a local favourite that picked up the silver award in 2022’s Best of Kamloops poll, make all their goodies on-site and offer specials every Monday through Thursday. Their Victoria Street Warmer, a whiskey, Kahlua, Bailey’s and coffee concoction with almonds might encourage you to stay a while. If you’re not feeling that adventurous, their brown sugar cinnamon latte will do the trick!
The Vic by 5 Bean Brew Bar downtown, renowned for its warmth and ample seating, roasts its own coffee. Their winter menu includes a gingerbread fog, a gingerbread chai, and a great classic, the eggnog latte̒. Before heading home, grab some local honey, or replenish your supply of ground coffee.
